Hello Next Students and Parents,

I hope you are all well and that you had a chance to get outside and enjoy the unseasonably warm weather these past few days. I have several important updates, so please stay tuned throughout this entire message.

Change to Community Day Next Week
As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday and we see an increase in cases of COVID-19 in our area, we will be canceling our in-person community day next week (Wed. 11/18). Instead, teachers will be reaching out to students to schedule small group and individual virtual support sessions to help wrap up module 2 projects. The last day of the module is on Friday, 11/20.

ILP Meetings – 11/23-11/24
Our ILP meetings on Monday and Tuesday (11/23-11/24) will be VIRTUAL. Your advisor will send an email on Monday, 11/16 with a link for you to schedule your Google Meet appointment. Keep on the lookout for that email and please schedule your ILP meeting as soon as possible.

Thanksgiving Break – 11/25-11/29
There will be no school for students beginning on Wed. 11/25 – Sun. 11/29. Module 3 begins on Monday, 11/30.

Electoral College Challenge
Many students and staff submitted their electoral college map predictions just before the election. I haven’t announced a winner yet, but don’t worry, I will, as soon as all the counting is complete and the election is certified. I know you are anxiously waiting to find out who won the big prize. Stay tuned.
